Mobile Phone Coverage
Please be aware that mobile phone coverage in the Gascoyne Murchison region is limited. Telstra Bigpond 3G is the main service provider in the very remote locations and some providers have no coverage.
Fuel, Food & Water
Food and fuel are generally available every 100- 300 kilometres. When travelling in remote locations it is suggested that you carry enough food and water with you to last at least 48 hours to be safe.
Some service stations have restricted opening hours and limited bank/credit facilities. LPG Autogas is not available in all regional areas. We advise that you contact the local Shire offices for fuel availability. The Shire contact details are listed on the Road Conditions page of this website.
